Parker Hale 009 cleans and protects shotgun, rifle and pistol barrels. It removes lead and other metallic fouling. Lead and metallic fouling in gun barrels often causes serious pitting, in that it hides rusting of the steel beneath the fouling; this rust rapidly eats into the metal resulting in severe damage unless it is quickly removed. Parker Hale 009 is specifically designed to do just this.
