The Olight S1 Mini Baton is the smallest in the baton series and is capable of 450 lumens output on the turbo setting, before dropping down to 250 lumens after 1 minute to prevent the LED from overheating.

Utilising a Cree XP-G3 LED the S1 Mini produces a white light with a colour temperature of 5500 k and 90 CRI.

The included Olight RCR123A 650 mAh lithium-ion battery features a built-in micro USB port in the top of the battery allowing it be charged directly using a standard micro USB charging cable which is also included. Simply insert the micro USB end of the cable into the battery and plug the standard USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The maximum charging time is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The torch can also be powered using a non-rechargeable CR123A lithium metal battery, however the turbo mode cannot be accessed when using this battery and also the low power warning indicator will not work with this battery type.

Featuring five brightness levels and strobe, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the side mounted push button. Select the brightness level with the torch turned on by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst the moonlight mode of 0.5 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch.

Quickly double pressing the switch will enter turbo mode and another three quick presses will activate the strobe mode. The torch needs to be warmed up in one of the other modes before it will enter the turbo.

The memory function will remember the last mode used for moonlight, low, mid, high and turbo (it will only remember high and turbo for 10 minutes since it was used, after that it will revert to mid).

The S1 Mini contains two timer settings; long timer (9 minutes) and short timer (3 minutes). Double click and hold the side switch while the light is on to enter this setting. One blink indicates the 3 minutes mode, and two blinks indicates the 9 minutes mode. Double click and hold the side switch to change the timer to the opposite setting. The light will automatically turn off when the timer is over.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds. The S1 Mini also features a dual purpose magnetic tail cap, so you can use it as a hands-free work light.

A stainless steel packet clip and wrist lanyard are included for easy carrying.

Please note: *The turbo setting after 1 minutes run-time will decrease to 250 lumens to protect the LED from overheating.

Tested to ANSI/NEMA FL1 2009 standards using the included 650 mAh 16340 lithium-ion battery.
