This is the presentation grade edition of the United States Marine Corp version of the original legendary U.S.M.C. knife; offering a full size 7" flat ground full tang blade with the original straight edge and has a gold plate over brass guards and butt cap.

The epoxy powder coated, high carbon steel (1095 - Cro Van) full tang blade has a Rockwell [HRC 56-58] hardness rating and is sharpened to 20 / 20 degrees with buff polished edges for better edge retention.

The blade is stamped U.S.M.C. with the KA-BAR brand name and is made exclusively in Olean, New York.
