The Mora Eldris LightDuty is a fixed blade neck knife. The perfect companion for smaller tasks around the camp, food prep, wood carving or making a one stick fire. A perfect knife to put in your backpack alongside your larger outdoor knife. You can carry it as a neck knife or put it in your jacket pocket.

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. The handle is made from polymer, with a TPE rubber finish around the core. Very sustainable and offers you enough grip. Because of the large handle you have optimal grip over the blade. Indispensable when you are carving wood.

Difference between the regular Eldris and the LightDuty:
At first glance both appear to be very similar. The blade thickness, dimensions and materials are the same. The differences are subtle. The LightDuty, for instance, is enhanced with a polished blade and the spine of the blade is not as sharp as that of the normal Eldris. The grind is also different: the normal Eldris is enhanced with a compound grind, with a thin tip. The Eldris LightDuty is enhanced with a full scandi-grind.

The Mora Eldris is a perfect knife to expand your wood carving skills at night close to the fire, or for food prep. In addition, it is a great knife to have young individuals get acquainted with outdoor knives.
