Slingshots
Slingshots or catapults have been around since the mid 1800's. The classic form consists of a Y-shaped frame held in the off hand, with two rubber strips attached to the uprights. The other ends of the strips lead back to a pocket or pouch that holds the ammo. The beauty of slingshots is that almost anything can be used as ammo.
