COLT:
In 1832, when Samuel Colt was only 18 years old, he started conceiving a revolutionary mechanism that would change the history of firearms : the revolver, the perfect synthesis between pepperbox and revolving flintlock guns that were the only repeating firearms by that time. His handgun is more reliable and faster than any other, and it overshadowed all previous firearm mechanisms in a few decades.

In 1836, Colt patented the Colt Paterson, the first of a long serie of successful revolvers : the Colt Walker, the Colt 1848 Dragoon, the Colt Model 1851 Navy, the Colt Model 1860 Army, and above all the mythical Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army, nicknamed “the Peacemaker”.

Even after its founder’s death in 1862, the Colt Firearms Company kept innovating, always seducing civilians as well as police and military forces all over the world, with firearms as famous as the Colt 1911, the Colt Python or the super cult M16 assault rifle and its derivatives.
